This is my perving on the British icon *smirk*rokittomarsSeptember 10 2011, 23:14:19 UTC
Evacuate the Dance Floor. Evacuate the Dance Floor. *hysterics*
ANYWAY. This chapter. To the quotes(ish)!
Oh my god, Grey's dad. And the h/c that develops. *heartclutch* I have a very big soft spot for h/c. It's like a guilty pleasure without the guilt. So, less soft spot, more raging semi-on. (I feel like I can be creepier at you because we've a. talked, and b. Rome and Grey just got dirty. *shrug* Logic!)
AND THEN THEY ARE BOYS! UGH, boys who can't talk! Which, I love when writers convey that, it's more realistic. So I'm yelling at them, not you.
I love how Rome notes the differences in Grey when he's drunk. Just the subtle things like his voice and physicality.
Rome slaps. *nomnomnom* Let me just run around the creepy D/s place in my brain for a bit, mkay? Oh, and then Rome makes an excellent bitch. I like it. I also very much like his ranting at Rebecca for some reason.
"Don't fucking nag me. I'm appropriately medicated for your safety," Ow. That hurt ):

Sorry it took me so long to reply. I'd like to blame my exams, and papers I was writing, and the fact that I was reading a really freaking addictive book, but mostly, I just suck.
But anyway. I had to have laughed out loud ten separate times, reading your comment. The hardest was at your family reading over your shoulder, I'm afraid. D: Schadenfreude?
My editor, who creeps my LJ, also loved your comment, she wanted me to mention.
But onto the specific replies! Oh, please get creepy at me. Gets me all hot and bothered. ;D Not really, but I do feel like I can reply in an equally creepy way, which is sort of my natural state. Creepy. If that made sense.
BOYS SUCK AT TALKING. Of course, so do I, which, I'll admit, really, really, really helped with this chapter. So much. I spent probably hours writing, staring at the screen, thinking, "what would I say if someone said that to me?" Not that my characters are self-inserts, but, hey, social awkwardness is social awkwardness

Psh, it's fine. I have a new edict: no computer on the weekdays. In fact, I should makeit weekends as well, as I'm currently avoiding both mowing the lawn and calc homework \o/
Creepy is a great natural setting. I love people who let me be creepy at them and are creepy back. It makes my life easier and more interesting.
Rome: Are you drunk?! Grey: Are you sexy? Rome: That doesn't even make sense! Grey: Neither do your clothes. Take them off. And then, trying to take his own pants off, Drunk-Grey falls over and passes out.Bahaahahhaha. Oh man, that's awesome. Neither do your clothes. XD

Os... m'I gniog ot epyt sdrawkcab. Lol, jk jk. That picture of Grey kind of reminds me of Keanu Reeves... Back when he was...better?
Also, Grey is Peter Pan because 1)they both don't remember their mothers too well and yet long for them. This is why Peter convinces Wendy to come with him, since he won't admit that he misses his mum, which Grey does (of a sort). 2) Also, Peter goes to great lengths to protect what he loves, but can still be a little obstinate and secretive. Grey is like this when he leaves Ava to protect her, not telling everyone about his alcoholism, etc.
lol, and that is how I spent my 7 hour drive back to college: listening to the Peter Pan soundtrack (the good one; the Broadway one) and comparing it to Grey "Ulysses Albright" Shores. I'm not too big of a nerd! :D

Hahahahahaha, not too big of a nerd at all. Only as big as Rebecca's dick.
