The question that comes immediately to mind is: can it be overloaded? As in, what happens if someone throws a spell so powerful that nullifying it would exceed the plate's current capacity? (Can this happen at all?) I don't imagine that Fran would ever want to throw a newborn star at Taiga, but it's useful to know for bossfights. XD

XD Yeah! Very good question! I don't think it's happened in a real situation in canon. But it was demonstrated that the card can be overloaded if Taiga uses it again during the fight.

Like for example in Mx0 terms:

- Let's say the Mx0 Card has 80 points right now.
- You attack using 50 points of magic.
- By the card using 50 of it's own points, the card can nullify it. But now in the fight, only 30 points remain.
- So if you attack again with 50 points, the resulting difference of 20 points doesn't get erased. Which leaves Taiga open to a hard-hitting attack!

In short. Yeah. The card can be left useless if it doesn't have enough points to defend Taiga against the attack, but that makes things a little complicated in battles. Taiga wouldn't know the level of magical points of a spell right off the bat. So basically, that's why I'm going to try to use the Mx0 Card very sparely, at least until I can figure something else out.
