The notion of busting through doors was strong in Aaron, as well; he had noisily entered his room, laughing up at Beautifly as he did so, when he spotted Drifloon. That stopped him short for a moment, his shoulders stiffening, but then he realized its owner was also in the room and he broke into a smile.

"Flint, you're back!" he beamed.

Immediately, Flint's face brightened, and he hopped down to the grass, Growlithe following and obviously pleased as well. "Dude! I was wondering where everyone went! What's up?" He grinned- beamed- as he met Aaron halfway, sticking a fist out in front of him.

"There was a coordinator shinding thing in Hearthome that Cynthia an' I went to," he answered, his smile widening as he bumped his fist to Flint's own. "There was a lot of fancy stuff and free food!"

He leaned down to give Growlithe a few pats on the head, laughing. "But how was your trip, man? It feels like you've been gone for ages!"

"I think I have been gone for ages!" Flint replied, scrubbing a hand over his forehead. "Turns out, Buck left home and sorta took over Iron Island. I met him there and we did a bit of catching up and battling."

He shrugged, dropping his hand and glancing at Drifloon, who was putzing its way around the grassy area and seeming very interested in various colored and shaped stones.

"Mom and Dad are good, too. Haven't seen Volk in a while, but it's probably because he's on some kick with another gym gizmo or repairs or something. Not much else to report, el capitán."
