Summary/Notes: Winona hasn't seen the lighthouse yet. Meissa owes Amphy a cupcake and so offers to accompany her.

Winona stepped outside, keeping close to her friend and her beloved partner. Swellow stayed close behind, its eyes peering at Winona impatiently. It was as if she was saying, "Let's go, I wanna see the city from up high."

The gym leader caught her reaction and gave her a gentle stroke on her cheek, earning a croon from the bird Pokemon. "Yes, we are both ready, haha! I feel Swellow is especially ready. It enjoys seeing anything from up so high. The sky is her limit." Literally and figuratively.

"Great," responded Meissa. Sitara gave a tweet to Swellow and took off for the lighthouse, flying at a height just above the ladies' heads. "I wonder if Jasmine is with Amphy?" she wondered aloud.

Was this a challenge? It felt like a challenge. Swellow sped off behind Sitara, trying to catch up. It was a very fast bird Pokemon, so chances are that it probably would.

"So, this Amphy is the Lighthouse Ampharos, is it not? How fascinating! I couldn't imagine a Pokemon being able to handle such an important duty all on its own."

Sitara chirped as Swellow caught up, and continued to flap so she could reach the top of the lighthouse. It was going to be a gorgeous view and Swellow certainly should see it.

"Yes," replied Meissa. "Amphy has been the beacon for a long time." She paused at the entrance. "There may be trainers in here. They do not bother Sitara or me, but they may ask you for a battle."

Trainers? Well, it wasn't as if Winona really minded. She could always use all of the battles she could get, and Swellow would likely agree to that.

"That is not a problem! Do any of them enjoy double battles?" Was that even a thing here?

Double battles? Meissa cringed slightly. Sitara was such an inexperienced pidgey, she had been a delivery bird her whole life. Surely Winona didn't mean for Sitara to fight too? These trainers would cream her. "Double? Maybe. We can take the elevator."
