Almost instantaneously after setting foot in the tall grass lining the forest, he was noticed by a local budding bug catcher who talked his ear off about his Weedle and begged for advice on how to beat trainers that sent out stronger Pokemon. Bugsy hadn't minded in the slightest, so he was happy to oblige. So... giving a sense on the passage of time, he hadn't been roaming through Route 36 for very long like he said he would before his PNG signaled Winona's ready. After those uncountable minutes spent, they parted ways and subsequently he received the Hoenn leader's message. Wow, that was fast. Maybe they talked longer than he thought?

He responded to the post right away, audio for audio. "Oh, I knew you'd call soon! Where can I meet you at?" Not wanting to waste time and make her wait any longer than she needed, he steered himself back in the direction of Violet.

Winona now sat in a small cafe, waiting for her food to arrive. She still needed to eat her breakfast and have a sweet hazelnut latte to kick start her day. Should Bugsy call her back, this would also be a nice place to meet up, as well.

And so he did! That was quick, at least for her. She was very patient.

"Hello! I am in the... Bird's Eye Cafe, I believe. Do you know where that is? You can come meet me here!"

Bird's Eye Cafe... Um. Bird's Eye... Cafe. He didn't feel bad for not knowing where it was, considering he wasn't exactly familiar with the backs and fronts of Violet City to a perfect T. And don't forget; he hadn't been many places to eat in this vicinity, much less stepped inside a cafe here either. It should be okay for him not to know, albeit a little inconvenient and slightly embarrassing. "No, I don't... but I can find it easily enough. See you there!" And that was that ( ... )

Falkner had just finished laying out the towels to dry after wiping the floors when he heard an odd ringing from his pants pocket. He thought it odd since he knew Morty slept late, so who would be calling him now? Pulling the PNG out, pressing a button and moving it up to his ear, he spoke, "Hello. This is Falkner of the Violet City Gym. How may I help you?"
