I'm rather fond of that line too. Its a bit grown up for Helga, but she's just about 23 now I believe and she's trying to make a point.

It's actually something hatfullofstars started. We play in a LONG running ORPG and we just did some little daemon quizzes on the Golden Compass site and there you have it. Inspiration.

Awesome. I'm loving this Klub daemon trend. Sereno's so cool.

One small thing, though -- daemons aren't steampunk. The aesthetic of Lyra's Oxford is, but the idea of daemons isn't.

Isn't Sereno cool? I'm kind of trying to get him down still, since I'm still a bit iffy on how the whole Daemon thing works, but learning. I like that he would rather her not even associate with men and just keep to her club duties. I'd like to think that the whole incident with her parents and the government probably had a hand in her daemon keeping to it's lion form as well. He's fun to work with.

(Oh yes, I know, I was just meaning I have an idea for steampunk!Cabaret. It's completely separate from daemon!Cabaret. Holy crap, we may have three AUs of Cabaret now. How awesome! I'm inspired!)

*LOL* Yes. Well, you and M were dipping your toes into future!Cabaret, so it was just a matter of time I guess.

I still need to tackle future!Cabaret. Alice Etta needs to be written... I'm just still up in the air of weather I should ask M if Alice could be Emcee's. That's always been the plan, I just never really asked. *lol* I could see Helga doing that. Sleeping with Emcee one last time and not doing anything to make sure she didn't get pregnant. What with the war just about to separate them all.
