And the reversal of Steve and Tango, which one was sleeping--that was a nice surprise, kept me on my toes. :) The girl was pretty creepy...especially that part about her features disappearing back into the shadow. Oooh. "Come play with me" = so Shining.
I also like how you included Steve and Tango's general inclination to touch one another and yet didn't make it outwardly slashy. It would be so easy to clutter up fics with the turmoil of inner thoughts, blah blah, but you let the story take care of itself without "editorializing" in any way. It's always nice when the author trusts the reader to see what they want, where they want. :)
Great job! *goes to look through your lj for more GH fics*

Hmm, any GH fic challenges you wanna throw at me? Now, keep in mind, I'm a Steve/Tango girl.
PS: You can find my other fic in the fic tag or at my site.
PSS: I sure wish I could post it on the FanFiction com. >.< They haven't added me yet.

I loved the overall creepy feeling of your fic. The girl definitely hit upon that, but also the dream state that Tango was in.
I especially enjoyed the ending. I love how it was Steve that saved Tango despite his fear of heights.
Thank you for this. <3

I think it's a powerful show of affection for Steve to push past his fears to save Tango. His teammate might not have fallen, but the very idea him any where near that landing makes Steve have to take matters into his own hands and pull him back.
I'm sure they'll be up there for a while though, after all that. That would be a big step for Steve, but he's probably pretty shaken.

what a sweet little matchmaking ghost:)
that was really cute.
i (obviously) loved when steve (n. one who is also afraid of heights) saved tango from his (totally adorable) paranormal experience of doom.
