Not too much of interest going on. My mom is coming to visit next week which I'm very excited about. Then I have a short trip home planned in May.

If you're interested at all in biographies, I'm in the middle of "The Power Broker: Robert Moses and the Fall of New York" by Robert Caro. Best biography I've ever read, hands down. The book is so large it's easily a deadly weapon, but it's fascinating.

I'm reading "Game of Shadows" right now, more for its importance in the history of print journalism and the subsequent near-imprisonment the authors had to go through because of their refusal to reveal their source. But it is also a fantastic book, and one of the best-researched pieces of journalistic non-fiction I have ever read. I'm getting to the juicy part where Victor Conte is about to get busted.

So I take it you've finished everything in the Charles Barkley collection already?

No; I bought "Who's Afraid of a Big Black Man" several months back, but I haven't had a chance to read it yet. That may be next. I need something light after all this corruption and grand jury testimony.
