Have I mentioned lately that I love Roa? Because I really do. She's so good at her job, though I rather doubt she feels that way at the moment. But she plays it so well - defending Miniyal against Ginella and others, and then giving her the talking-to she deserves in private. It doesn't go well, but it's the right strategy.

I love reading scenes with these two. They're always interesting. I also, of course, take pleasure in watching people yell at Miniyal. I want to smack her in the mouth, but this will do for now.

This is a lot of stress and strain to be putting on a pregnant woman, n'est pas? Bless Roa, for keeping on trying reasoned arguments with Miniyal, in the face of all evidence regarding the odds that they'll sink in. Then again, telling her she can't do things isn't exactly a winner either, so I'm not sure what /is/ worth trying. She recognises that they're circling, though, and directs Miniyal to R'vain, which is perhaps a smart move. It will, regardless, make for fun reading.
