I ALMOST bought the game because of the whole free online play thing. I'm avoiding World of Warcraft (WOW) because of the monthly payments. That, and I kind of like having a life. ;-) But, I've heard that for a non-subscription based MMO, it's really good. Working at a video game store allows me to get lots of feedback from customers and co-workers who bought it. :-)

I'm playin' City of Heroes at the moment, but considering Guild Wars as another MMO when I get bored of CoH... how good IS it, really? Like, how in-depth for characters? That was the big draw of CoH, for me... :/

I'm currently fagging it up on WoW, a few people I know are playing GW though... the no subscription thing is good, and it looks very pretty, but I don't fancy trying to balance between the two, and I really quite like WoW :[
