I hope you have a blast tonight - enjoy fannish squeetiems and drink at least one martini for me, please?

I highly recommend you buy ALL the Sutcliff books if you can track them down, because they are full of subtexty goodness!!!!

I will a raise a martini glass in your honor, never fear!

And I hope there are more Sutcliff books around. I do like the premise of her stories and her writing style, and would love to read more. But in the meantime, more Marcus and Esca!

♥♥♥ Just for yooooooou. You give me wonderful mental images, I give you porn, that's how it works.

Vegetables are really the greatest thing ever, aren't they? I heart them. And more are appearing because SPRING and it's amazing and, yes. Vegetables. Hearts.

Jamie's little FACE. You know, I think I like him with a bit of scruff. He's like Michael that way. Not that I would turn them away cleanly shaven. :o

    And then suddenly, Odin. :D

I cannot wait for spring because we will be going back to the organic vegetables and fruits delivery and mmmmmmm, fresh, delicious things!

I love him with his hipster nerd glasses. It is almost criminal the things I want to do to him when he wears them.

He is was not remotely my type either and now I am all JAMIEEEEEEEEE!!! all the time. I would throw him over my shoulder and drag him back to my cave.

And possibly feed him milk and cookies.

And now I find myself randomly ogling short, slim, young, blond boys on the street. What have you done to me Jamiieeeeee?

Oh, God, this morning as I got off the bus, I spotted a gorgeous blond boy who looked startlingly like Jamie and almost tripped over the pavement trying to ogle him. Ffffff, my life. Dammit, Jamie!

Oy. I am so glad that I know nothing about Pettyfer and am not really invested in him at all. I hate when they turn out to be douche-like. >.>

I know! Bless Just Jared and their monster-sized pictures, although it makes posting this stuff at work problematic because his face took up my whole screen and I was like, "...CAN'T LET ANYONE SEE." I fail at stealth.

I have not watched The Eagle yet, mostly because Singapore lags like a lagging thing when it comes to movies and it only opens next week, but I am six chapters into The Eagle of the Ninth and am enjoying myself immensely. Sutcliff's writing is just a bit drier than I usually like, but I forgive a lot for the fact that the line "I am the Centurion's hound, to lie at the Centurion's feet" was uttered. ♥

Oh, dear God, that "Centurion's hound" line is so what got me into wanting to read the book. I do not know any other way to parse that other than Esca declaring his undying love and devotion to Marcus.
