So yesterday, I wrote Alex and Scott in Toronto for Gus's Take Your Fandom Home With You fest and included a bit about Stompin' Tom Connors, who is pretty much a Canadian institution by this point.

Oh, The Hockey Song. It is one of those quintessentially Canadian songs that you can't help but love the moment you hear it. I don't even like hockey, but that song makes me happy every time I hear it. :D

Unf, so hot and compact and lovely. He even had on some of Scotty's more mock-worthy wardrobe with the jeans that pool at his feet and the sneakers. Did not take away from his hotness one bit either.

Hee! I know. I can upload his best-of album if you want it. Most of his songs about Canadian history and such, and it's all amazing. :D

Pocket boyfriend!!

I srsly need to ask our bull riding announcer if he knows of Stompin' Tom. If he doesn't, he NEEDS TO.

Also, I've never watched H50, though I have had a wee crush on Scotty since Gone in 60 Seconds, but I enjoyed both fics mightily :D ... that is some horrible sentence construction, right there. OH WELL.

Ahahaha! If your announcer has heard of, or even heard, Stompin' Tom before, I will be impressed.

I've always liked Scott, but never wanted to nail him as hard as I do as when he's playing Danny Williams. There's something about a loud, mouthy guy who loves his kid enough to move to Hawaii, is a good cop, and talks with his hands that makes me weak in the knees. :D
