So a while back, I posted a prompt on the_eagle_kink asking for a CEO AU, and some brilliant anon took it and ran with it. Well, she finally de-anoned to post the entire story and, as you have guessed by now, I made a fanmix for it. We're going to pretend that I didn't make this fanmix before the story was finished and before I even knew who wrote this story,

Do you know how tough it is to find a half-decent picture that represents 'software technology' or 'major corporation'? Very, very difficult! Stupid abstract concepts that don't translate well to visual cues for fanmixes. :O <333333333333333

Okay, I just finished listening to this for the first time through this morning, and I am going to start over again from the beginning, but this is AMAZING.

Every song was so well-chosen, both for lyrics and mood. I can't believe how well it fits, and most of it is new music to me, which is wonderful. What's hitting me hard now are the P.J. Harvey song and "Of Days Gone By", but I think it will be something else the next time through.

(ETA: Okay, back to the beginning again. Wow, "High for This" is a fantastic choice. V. sexy.)

I AM SO HAPPY YOU LIKE IT. Seriously, it is making my day that all the song choices work for you because that's always the most important part of the fanmix for me. And yeah, the minute I heard The Weeknd, I knew I was going to use one of their songs in your fanmix, and "High For This" ended up working so perfectly for Marcus and Esca's first time together.
