"My TARDIS?"
"My Doctor."
DOCTOR/TARDIS OTP FOREVER. Oh, she calls him her thief and chases him around for kisses and he's her beautiful idiot and "this when we talked" and his tears and begging her not to go and his FACE made me sob and clutch at my heart. Add to that Amy and Rory and Amy weeping over Rory and Rory being the pretty one and OH MY GOD, THIS SHOW, THIS SHOW OWNS MY HEART SO COMPLETELY.
I've watched this episode twice already, and I want to watch it at least six more times to absorb how wonderful it is. The TARDIS was human and this is when she and the Doctor talked and he's hers and she's his and it's always going to be them when everyone else is gone.
Also, Michael Sheen as House. Awesome!
AUGH, BUTCHER, YOU MADE ME THINK EHREN HAD DIED AND IT WAS THE WORST TWO HOURS OF MY LIFE, YOU BASTARD. I was sobbing when I read that, SOBBING, and then later, he showed up to reveal what his sneaky, brilliant plan was to Bernard and I fell in love with him all over again.
And then there was Fidelius and how his betrayal was revealed and Tavi's punishment and AUGH. My hearrrrrrrrrrrrt! I cried so much reading this goddamn book.
Also, TAVI AND KITAI AND THEIR COURTSHIP AND THEIR BABY AND ZOMG. I love them so, so much. Their bantering and how protective she is of him and how much he clearly loves her and them fighting the vord Queen in tandem and eeeeeeee! My OTP for this series and I will never stop loving them.
Also, I adore Max and Crassus' banter and their deepening relationship by the end of the book. I am sad that Crassus and Tavi had their falling out, but I'm so happy that Max and Crassus got closer together as brothers.
Kitai: (re: Cyricus and his competence) "Oh, my. I think I'm in love."
Tavi: "I saw him first."
Good to see you're still bringing in the subtext with these two, Butcher. No wonder I still ship Max/Tavi/Kitai like it's my freaking job.
In conclusion: LOVED IT. Although I'm so sad I have no more Codex Alera books to read. Thank God there's more Dresden Files books coming out soon.

never meant you harm, an Eagle/Jumper AU where Griffen is actually Esca, Marcus works with the Paladins, and nothing is as simple as it seems.
It’s Esca.
He’s thinner than Marcus remembers, all wiry muscle and silent strength underneath the too-big shirt. He stares at Marcus, and Marcus can feel his heart pounding-he wants to grab Esca and beg him not to leave again, he wants to tell Esca to go because he’s going to be killed. Esca doesn’t look away from Marcus’s face-even as the wire whips around Esca, five thousand volts conducted across his skin and making him cry out in pain.
“Kill him!”
Marcus has the gun, he can’t miss from this distance-he has a hundred things to say and no time to say them.
The moment of hesitation is all Esca needs-a flash of the knife, the wires fall away, and-
He is gone.
I never thought anyone would ever write this crossover, let alone make it so heartbreaking and beautiful, but she did, and it's amazing. Go read it and tell her so. She deserves every accolade she gets for writing such a gorgeous story.
Apparently, the new season of Torchwood takes place in L.A.? I am more than a little wary of that, but at the same time, it has Mekhi Pfifer and Ernie Hudson (WINSTON ZEDDEMORE WHAT?), and I am kind of excited about that. It's all so confusing. :\
