hello hello my love. I don't follow people on tumblr, rather I put their tumblrs in my google reader because then I only have to check one site for tumblrs, blogs, news etc and it's just how I like to do. but I do have a tumblr. okay, I have three tumblrs, but only one in which I post regularly.

I am still figuring out the ways of Tumblr, so we'll see if this is a lasting thing or if it'll go the way of my Facebook and Twitter. For now, I am enjoying it.

for me, the process of sifting through things and choosing what to post - I call it curating, because I'm a pretentious fuck - is calming and very low stress. I think that's part of why I don't have a fannish item, actually, because all fannish interaction brings with it some level of stress, good or bad, and my tumblr experience is just the total opposite of that. there's no expectations, there's no chance of miscommunication, it's just... nice. and any pleasure it brings another on top of what it brings me, is just cream in the coffee.
