I'm in a bit of TV rut. I started several new shows over the last few weeks, but I can't seem to get into any of them. I started Gilmore Girls, but disliked Lorelai before the end of episode 2. I started Friday Night Light, but I'm so distracted by the camera wobbling I can't get into the story. And tonight I started Girls and it just completely ( Read more... )

Have you tried Raising Hope? I just tried it one day and it's been pretty good. If you want something more dramatic, The Americans has had me hooked every single week.

I've heard good tings about The Americans! Raising Hope wasn't my cup of tea though.

Saw that someone mentioned Suits; seconded. A few months ago I watched a Swedish historic crime show called Anno 1790, which I completely forgot to mention, but was fabulous and I highly recommend it.

I started watching The Carrie Diaries. I am not sold on it yet. But I like the music in the show.

I'm waiting for it to be picked up for a second season. I hate to get invested in something only for it to be cancelled.

i love hart of dixie. haven't watched any of the other shows you mentioned. have you watched Good Wife? that's still my fave show. also Revenge is very good, i think i told you about both of these last year. as far as new shows, I love Elementary, a modern day Sherlock Holmes series which stars Lucy Liu as Watson and Jonny Lee Miller as Sherlock. It's very good as well. Oh and have you watched Mr Selfridge? that's a 10 part BBC production which just stopped airing here. if you can download it, i'd highly recommend it. i prefer it to Downton Abbey. it's set in 1908 London ( ... )

Hi! Good to hear you love Hart of Dixie as well. It's very predictable but I couldn't stop watching.

I started the Good Wife, but somehow stopped watching after episode six. I'm a bit tired of case of the week shows at the moment. I'm looking for something with a continuing story.

I downloaded Elementary last night after Joan won this year's March Madness and I have Mr Selfridge as well. It's that good huh?

Grey's Anatomy is still one of my favourite shows.

How are you? I'm very well. Life has just been very busy.

I'd been feeling similar, but got hooked on Vampire Diaries (which having trolled your tags I see you're the same!) Also recently caught up with Suits which I LOVE. Two seasons of that aired now if you've not seen it before. Also discovered the guilty pleasure of the new Beauty and the Beast. Also recommend Rookie Blue very very highly if you haven't seen that - smart and very character driven :)

Hope the family is well :)

The Vampire Diaries was very addictive, but the last few episodes have been a bit meh for me. I was hoping for some good Delena stuff, but it never came.

I'll check out suits!

The family is great, thanks for asking!
