I wrote a little play a couple of weeks ago that I thought you'd like to read, should take about 2-3 mins to read it. I'm still trying to fix it up with the stage directions and staging of the bedroom, etc. Any feedback would be appreciated. This is just one of the plays that I am submitting in my portfolio due in one week! Yipe!

i really liked it. one comment: reveal is not a noun... so perhaps change this opening phrase:
A one-act play about a boy’s journey of discovery and reveal.

i dont' quite get it. is the boy really that dumb that he doesn't know that he wears hearing aids? if he did... shoudlnt' they be fucked up because the BOY hosed them down with water??? what about poking his finger in his ear to find ear wax or blood... what about the ear mold???

Well I'm thinking of it this way...the boy just got new hearing aids, and he's about 8-10 years old, and forgot that he actually wears them. Its kinda a 'dumb blonde' morning for him, I have these too, sometimes we just forget a silly little thing like that. Some mornings I would put my hearing aid on first and go into the shower and then realize at the last second that I was wearing them in the shower...then take them out.

Anyhoo, the hearing aid is in the boy's RIGHT ear, even though he's been hosing out his left ear. And for the 'poking his finger in ear to find wax or blood' he is just searching for indications of why he can't hear, doesn't mean there is any blood or wax present.

well I meant that, if he was poking his ear, shouldn't he feel his ear mold in the ear when he was expecting to find wax, blood, etc... unless he was only poking his left ear.
