There are some people I just cant take. Almost everything they do bothers me, offends me, suprises me and/or annoys me. It's not their fault really, just a conflict of personality I guess. Then there are other people who say things to me and I just stand there staring at them in shock pondering wether to slap some sense into them or not. Finally

No one is quite perfect...hardly ever. I used to hate people for being that way, until I realized I was quite like them myself, in many ways I've never realized...and I ended up overlooking the same mistakes I made of which they also stumbled upon.

Though I can understand you're upset right now...I can't say I understand your family life cuz I haven't been there. But I'm the last person who wants to speak from a throne, so take my words lightly. Anyway, just dropping a note cuz I care...

Ahhhhhhhhh yes. So many people get burnt out by the greed of "civilization" and start to pine for a cabin in the woods.

But not enough.

Most people will never overcome that greed and desire to keep up with the joneses. They will never figure out that the purpose of life has absolutely NOTHING to do with any of the trappings of modern society.

When they reach those pearly gates with all their money and power and materialism and "success", they'll be in for one hell (so to speak) of a shock when they hear the words "Sorry, you cant bring any of THAT in here! Stop kidding around and lets see the IMPORTANT things you were supposed to be gathering during your stay on earth!"

And they still wont get it.

I agree with you...things now scare me too. People just don't care about anyone else but themselves today. It's really sad. I think what really scares me more though is that if things continue they way they are think about what it will be like when our grandchildren our our ages.
