As I was quick to point out an hour after the event, your little mishap with the water and concrete didn't hit my local radar until I happened to catch a "Breaking News Alert" from our local NBC affiliate somewhere around 10:00p.m.
As there was no ripple effect in the universe, it was safe to assume you had survived.
As you'll recall we had previously visited a lesser-known vantage point from which the skyline can be viewed in all its charm. The former bridge in question was the next one over. I went by that area today and our spot is behind barricades. If you want to see the wreckage, we'll have to find a new lookout point.
I'll send a signal to the gawker underground and see if I still have people there.
One of my employees got to watch Katie Couric get manhandled by local police this morning, which apparently means it has become big news. Lots more people were checking in on me today, but still no mom... Thanks.
I hear the President is coming. I bet he takes off the tie, rolls up his sleeves and everything!
