when you're waiting to hear back about a job. Either that or it flies by, but right now it's just puttering about moving as slow as it wants to. I want to hear back from the School for the Blind and I want to hear that I can go work in the Solar group and play with Autistic kids. I'm not so sure about how I feel with working in the Life group ( Read more... )

And I'm definately staying away from Vista until this Lappy dies, which may not be until I graduate or even later. Peh.

As for Office, I found something interesting a while back. There's a site through which you can get the software cheap, but it comes without the fancy box, the manuals, and ze tech support. Knowing you and your M4D H4XX0R 5K!11Z, you probably dun need none o'that.

I'm using Vista on the new computer and it's pretty neat so far. There are a couple of programs I can't load back on because they aren't compatible, but nothing that I can't live without.

I would have waited to get Vista myself, as you said, however, this computer came with it, and I figure I'll give it a whirl. If all else fails I have my trusty copy of XP sitting in drawer.

Glad to know Vista looks good. I'm always wary about new OS's, especially when they have to do with Windows. hehe

btw, I hit 62 tonight. that was exciting. now 63 is far far far far away
