A Touchy Subject for Some...
I have always thought that abortion was wrong and NOT JUSTIFIABLE. Now I feel it even more.
I babysit for a couple at my church. I watch their SECOND child. He was premature, and they were really concerned about him as an infant. Their first child died late in the pregnancy; she had a really late miscarriage. It was sad, but it never really hit home for me either.
I was looking at some ultrasound pictures of their new baby (she will be born in a few weeks). They had some really neat 4-D pictures, and they look incredible! Even when the baby was young (they have had multiple pictures), it's amazing to see how DEVELOPED the baby is.
In this same book there was a footprint/handprint ink blot of their first born. I don't remember how far along she was, but guess what... 5 little fingers, 5 little toes. So small, yet so precious. I know this death caused them so much pain...
AND SOME PEOPLE WILLINGLY DO THIS TO THEIR UNBORN. EVEN AFTER THE AGE OF VIABILITY.
IT'S RIDICULOUS, AND COMPLETELY AGAINST GOD. HE VALUES LIFE MORE THAN ANYTHING. I FEEL SORRY FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT REPENTED/CONFESSED/ASKED FORGIVENESS FOR THAT SIN.
Sorry... I'm not trying to offend anyone. Like I said, I always thought it was wrong, but after seeing that, I became even more frustrated.
