I know. It's sad how many Churches have a distorted view on repentance. Fortunately, my church is one of those churches that actually gets it right.

I totally agree that being saved is more than just saying a prayer. Saying the prayer and repenting of your sins is only the FIRST step. The next step is living a lifestyle that reflects the way Jesus lived. This step is not easy for everyone to follow. For them to do this step, they need to reexamine their priorities (like you said....) and be consistent in living a Christ-centered lifestyle. This takes work and time to do but is most rewarding when we do it. There is no greater joy than in Christ. There is no greater happiness than in Christ.

I just thought that I needed to include this.

ok, watched it. i like it. i agree with most of it. i'll probably email it to noelani's father. pray for us about that because i know if i send it, he may or may not watch it. but if he does watch it, he may or may not react in way of repentence. and if he doesn't repent, the "friendly" relationship we've got going at the moment will turn into another big fight. and it really breaks me everytime we have a major fight because he ends up doing hurtful things like bail out on a day that he's suppose to take noelani. and then she is hurt and cries because she's expecting to see her daddy, who she asks to see everyday (which also tears me a part because i have to disappoint her with reality each and every time) but only gets to see on weekends. and that makes me hurt and cry in turn
