I'll not brag, but I thought it'd be worth mentioning what my neighborhood is like for those who might want to visit someday. This may also explain why I'm having difficulty staying in daily contact with folks so far ( Read more... )

...by remembering not to drive into any low hanging structures with your bike attached to that fancy new bike rack of yours.

Speaking of bike racks, my gas mileage is substantially better now that mine doesn't fit onto my car anymore.

Clearly I haven't told you about my kitchen. It is a bit lacking in the cool department. Still, I can cook a mean burrito, and someday I'll get some pots and pans. Until then, things like rice, meat, eggs, really anything that needs to be cooked not-over-open-flames will have to wait.

You are welcome to visit me in Sacto! Maybe by then I'll have some furniture, or at the very least I can get you a smokin' deal at the Governor's Inn!

I love parks. joymattingly June 7 2005, 08:46:44 UTC
The park sounds lovely, but I should warn you not to try to play croquet with a flamingo as a mallet. It never worked for Alice and I doubt it would work for you.

Congratulations on Palm trees, pink shirts, bike rides, and flirty baristas. Sounds like the makings of a real good life. In time, friends, right behind the flirty baristas of course, will flock to your pink shirt. Good luck!
