How do you like to read?

Poll How do I like to readPersonally, I like a paperback and an audio book. That way, i can read at home, but listen in the car.  Recently, though, I've been digging reading eBooks on the iPad, or even my iPhone, because you can read with all the lights out, and your not bugging anyone.

How about you?

I'm old fashioned so I like having a book on hand. Hard covers are bulky and expensive, but I don't have to worry about my friends bending the spine when they borrow it.

Specifically, unless the book is over 500 pages (ie. all of the Song of Ice and Fire books) I love trade paperbacks. Otherwise I prefer regular paperback format.

Hardbacks are too big and heavy for toting around.

If I owned an e-reader, my answer might change. But I doubt it.

I like paperbacks first, because they are light and easy to tote around and you don't feel bad about shoving them into a messenger bag. Portable, cheap and no power needed.

I have to say I'm getting interested in ebooks. I think if I had an iPad I would use it for books as well as every other bloomin thing. The iPhone seems a bit too small for these old eyes reading a novel.

I like to have a book in my hand. The feeling of paper, the turning of the pages, how they look in my shelves knowing that I read all of them :)
Audiobooks are okay, but I cannot concentrate for a longer time on them. My mind starts to drift away after some minutes so I always hace the feeling of missing something.
I have some eBooks on my Android, but I haven't read them by now. It doesn't fit me :)

I am more and more an ebook type. I've gone so far to buy ebooks of paper books I haven't even read yet. My Sony ereader and my phone are loaded with books.
