Things have been mad busy. The practice room equipment is finished, so we can record digitally. I want to do all of the recording on analog equipment because the sound really is warmer. We will however be able to do digital one-takes so every one can more quickly learn new songs. We have 30 for this album. I expect to trim that down to about 11 ( Read more... )

I just got in from Russia. I have only been gone for four days and it feels like a lot longer. The russians were the sweetest kids in the world. They have a real appreciation for ska and music in general. Their musicians were all top. It was amazing to play with so many good bands ( Read more... )

Just back from a show up north. Very interesting people up in Nordrhein Westfallien. It was the best gig the band has ever had in that state. We are proud. The ride home went by quick because we were writing new songs in the back of the bus ( Read more... )

We just got booked for the biggest Reggae festival in Germany. It's on the Chiemsee, near the Austrian Border. ChiemseeReggaeFestival First Russia and now this. I am so grateful for this chance. Free backstage passes to anyone of my people who can make it. It will be a tremendous show.

We were in Berlin, this week. I love that city. More than I ever loved a city. I loved Tampa too. Especially the way downtown rises out of the trees (In the view from the park near the river.)
