According to Steam, I've now clocked up 201 hours play-time on Skyrim, so I thought I might make a few observations here.
- It's beautiful. Everybody says this, because it is. In many ways it's the most outstanding feature of the game: you just can't look at it without going, "Gosh, how beautiful is that?"

I have always avoided mods, since I associate them with cheating even when they're not (and even when they, as in the case of the Immersive HUD, make the game harder). I remember angsting for days about whether I should download an Oblivion mod that had no purpose other than to fix a game-breaking bug (I eventually did, but it's weird that I had to think about it). That said, after 317 hours I've gotten bored enough with vanilla Skyrim that I might restart with a bit of a mod-applied challenge. Probably not immediately, though.
