France, 46 (of which, Rhone, 11, Loire, 9, Burgundy, 9, Languedoc, 6, Bordeaux, 4)
Italy, 23
Spain, 17
Australia, 14
Chile, 10

I was pretty sure that Zinfandel and Primitivo were different names for the same group.

The sources seem equivocal, e.g. Wikipedia redirects Primitivo to Zinfandel and states that they're genetically equivalent, but goes on to say that they have different tastes and growing characteristics.

Or even half of them?
