Bob - Forgive me for contacting you through the comments page of your livejournal. Alas, I would rather be knocking on your door with a bottle of Scotch, but unfortunately for you I haven't found out where you live yet. In any case, tonight I saw The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, and Mathieu Amalric (pre-coma) reminded me so much of you - or my memory of you - that I had to google you down. I hope you are well, and am very happy to find loads of your writing to sink into. Do get in touch if you feel like it - I've just been in Europe, and am back in San Francisco to settle for a while. I'd love to catch up.

Very warmly,
Karen Ivy
