Yeah. Unfortunately, there aren't many places in the US that aren't a victim because there are very few cities in areas that are geographically locked. I've always been in the "buy some land" mindset. The idea of buying a condo to permanently live in is beyond my comprehension. I don't know if this is something I got from my parents, the South, or if it's just The American Way. I tend to think it is the latter. If so, preventing sprawl in US cities is all but impossible.
