Alabama Drivers Used To Be Considerate

When I first started driving, things were a lot different than they are now. It used to be that, for the most part, people drove right and passed left, allowed people to merge, and merged without messing up the flow of traffic. Yeah. Unfortunately, there aren't many places in the US that aren't a victim because there are very few cities in areas that are geographically locked. I've always been in the "buy some land" mindset. The idea of buying a condo to permanently live in is beyond my comprehension. I don't know if this is something I got from my parents, the South, or if it's just The American Way. I tend to think it is the latter. If so, preventing sprawl in US cities is all but impossible.
