I've mentioned this article to some of you already, but I'm sitting here bored, so I will key it in here. It's an article from my hometown newspaper The Butler County Banner. wow ... that article raises a lot of issues ... reminds me of my "theory of knowledge" class.

like should people have to conform to american standards? do they need to become americanized? what is appropriate in terms of culture, moral issues? who has the authority to change them? should they even have the power to do that? majority versus minority, is the majority always right? etc

i'm just glad you're here in seattle :D
