So this morning I popped my knee out of its socket. Does this happen to everyone? I twist my knee in some way and then it's like one of my hamstrings is pinched and can't move. The pain is excruciating. I feel like a suspension bridge about to give way. The moments between when I try to move my leg, though, are tinged with this euphoria, like my

I'm sorry about your knee. I broke my toe today! But it doesn't actually hurt too bad, unless I move it. I've never broken a bone before, just had various, stitch-requiring injuries, so it's sort of a milestone.

Just kicked a chair, like the klutz I am. And then I went back to bed. It was only when it still hurt hours later that I thought, "Well that's weird," and, hey, turned out my toe was purple.
