My verdict on Coraline.

I liked it but it's not for the kiddies, really. Or at least, not for my kiddie.

If I hadn't been going out of town next weekend, I might not have been in such a rush to take her. The story itself might not have freaked her out too much, if I'd read her the book, but the movie was a little too . . . vivid for her. She also doesn't like dogs at

Interesting, I'm surprised maybe it just hit too close to home. this is why I made Jeff take C, I wasn't too sure and I knew I didn't want to spend the movie telling her to calm down or hide under my coat.

But Jeff took C to see this on Sat. and she said she liked it despite being scared. I agree, this is a borderline movie for the under 10.
