I went for a short drive this afternoon, and ended up at the New House Country Hotel, where Alan and Ruth had their reception. A much better view across Cardiff this time, so I made sure to take a snap:

Intrigued this week to find out the NBC are putting together an American version of the UK Channel 4 comedy "The IT Crowd". Unlike stuff like "The Office" or "Extras", it's a very traditional, studio-audience type comedy, and I wonder how it will transfer. To be honest, I'm not sure about how it will work from the US publicity picture:

Well, I'm now an uncle. A baby girl arrived yesterday evening to Alan and Ruth, weighing in at 8 lb and 7 oz. Mother and baby very well.

They've decided to call her Isabel Evelyn, using the Spanish/Portuguese spelling "Isabel" rather than the French "Isabelle" or the Scottish "Isobel".

I'm beginning to think she's actually staying away because she has an aversion to the "bed" scene she has with Paolo. I woke early this morning - about 5:30 am, so rather than trying to get back to sleep and as the sun was already shining I took a drive down to the Bay, and had a walk along by the quay and wetlands area. A few nice pictures...
