After muttering to myself (and occasionally to others) for some time, I am now on a new mission: to find a decent alcohol-free beer. So I've decided to blog about this until I get bored with the whole thing: http://hopstodge.wordpress.com/
It would be an interesting exercise to work out how to either remove the alcohol from the beer or to get the flavour to develop without the fermentation. I haven't investigated this (but probably will at some point) but I expect it would require some more expensive equipment. Plus, shelf life would be massively reduced as the alcohol is the main preservative (with a little help from the hops).
