Fall Break.
Monday - Classes of course, then went with Brian to Rachel's for awhile. We played video games... Wheel of Fortune *we kicked ass* mario party and i watched them play smash brothers for awhile. we played a little poker and random stuff like that. next thing we realize it's 4am so 3 of us went to Shortstop. Didn't really sleep too much though.
Tuesday - Woke up around noon - had Calc at 1, but, for some reason, still didn't make it to class. Got back to campus around 4 and did a lot of work... a lot. Went to a little bit of the soccer game because we were playing Ricky Carvalho's team, he's good, plays a lot for them too. Crazy. So, like I said... did work all night.
Wednesday - Went to Italian (we played a game), went to Genetics (took the midterm finished in 10 minutes), went to Calc 2 (teacher ended class less than halfway through), Social Foundations and 2nd Language Acq. were cancelled! :) Easy day!
Wednesday after classes - Cleaned up a bit and lounged around, played Tony Hawk. Got dinner with Andrew and Brandon then went with Brian to the liquor store... $88 later had 4 bottles of nice liquor. Went to his place and picked up Spalding. 3 of us played drinking games (smash, golf, shrek, etc.) and put on Scrubs... I fell asleep within 20 minutes, went to bed around 2am. Brian came in around 5am, woke me up... bastard! :)
Thursday - Got up late and did nothing. Called andrew and planned to leave Ithaca for home at 130pm. It was 125... still laying in bed. FINALLY left and made the 6 hour drive home with Andrew... got to his house around 8/830. Got home and snuck into my house, nobody even saw, until i scared the shit out of all of 'em. Hung out, did some HW and watched TV... so relaxing and so nice to be home!
Friday - HBHS!!!! :) 6th period with Adamson, we watched funny movies and laughed and made fun of people, a lot! YAY! I'm going to coach again with her this year! YAY! 7th period I went to Mr. Winslow's office and we talked about school and my schedule for the next 3 years, exciting... kind of. Saw Balf. briefly and said hi. BEEF! Spent 8th with Mrs. Plummer ! Super Yay! Paul and Adamson ended up coming in too. It turned into a big 'lets make fun of tamara' game, i enjoyed. After school talked with Mrs. plummer for a bit longer, then went to PANERA!!!!!!!!!! I miss that place. Went back to the high school and watched the volleyball game, they are amazing per usual. Went home and had dinner and such :) Then around 730 went to the Plummers for the night! Was SUPER excited to see CRAIG!!! It's been 2 months (which is insanely long for us). We talked for a lonnnng time, watched Family Guy, went and got ice cream, downloaded 'il'legal music, planned next weekend, the list goes on forever! It was such a great time, seriously! Then I went home.
Saturday - We had a family breakfast because my bros bday was last week and my parents is this week. So did breakfast and such, then packed my car up and hung out with the fam for a bit. Then met Andrew and Brad in Milford and we drove up to the flood... I mean keene. AHHH crazy!!! So awesome! I got to see Justine, Katie, Ashley, Jamie, Leslie, Kyle, BILL, Sam, Jon, JR, Erika, Ashley L, Lauran, Cassy, Lauren S, Katelyn, Chris!!!! It was fantastic! We walked around and did that stuff for awhile, then Andrew, Brad, Kyle, Justine, Katie, Leslie, Jamie and I went to Applebees for dinner! :) Stopped at Cumbies and played with the stolen a GOURD! Went back to Katie and Justine's room where we did lots of shots, played Kings cup 2 times (with never have I ever!), played beruit, then we walked to cumbies.... on the way I attempted to jump over a stone thing in the quad, needless to say I didn't make it over and hit my ass on it then fell flat on my face... as Andrew would say "the best part was that you faceplanted then didn't even move." ya. we went back and all lounged around for awhile then Andrew and I went back to his apartment to sleep.
Sunday - We got up and went to breakfast with some of the kids! Then proceeded to make the drive back. Where my low fuel light was on for like 20 miles. Thought I was gonna just stop. I listened to an audiobook the whole way, it passed the time very fast! :)
THAT'S IT FOLKS, THAT'S FALL BREAK.
So I've been real emotional lately - just the whole going home and seeing people, and going to keene and seeing people. It's just so different. Keene was great, i miss it, i miss having that group of friends. Home is just great because there are a few people there that i really care about. I feel like I was home and couldn't wait to come back and now that I'm back I can't wait to go home. Thanksgiving...
I feel like I need something bigger in my life. I need to do something bigger, mean something more to someone, do something extraordinary, be something special. I watch "extreme makeover home edition" and i see what some of these people do for the world and wish i could... i guess i can... but wish that i had the financial and social capabilities of doing these things.
Do you ever feel like... there's something bigger out there... better than, school (persay). Maybe not even better, because I am one who thinks education is very important, but something more powerful than that. It's known that hands on action in the community is far more powerful than reading from a textbook. But we use textbooks nonetheless. Weird.
