 Prompt 28 from antistar_e  : "it's a long wait for a train don't come"

The poor man sits alone (always alone) at the bus stop. You assume (you ass) that he smells like an unholy mixture of urine and booze. His clothes are (gross) worn. A (disgusting) green fedora, paired with (seriously?) a bright red jumpsuit, underneath (or sewn onto) a trench coat. Everyone passes him by (like he's part of the bus stop) without a second glance. No one asks how he's doing (or even says hello), they just glare with (a little bit of fear) a snobbish contempt.

One day a twelve year old (weird, strange kid) walks up to the bus stop with his mother. He says hello (talking to a stranger) and his mother (hisses) grabs his arm. He (apologizes with a look) smiles at the man. The boy learns a valuable (terribly depressing) lesson about the world. With his spirit broken (imagination, too) he resigns to his eventual fate of wasting away in a cubicle.

Tuesday afternoon a lady joins the man (in a wholly unholy union) on the bus stop. They hold (glances) hands. Neither (smells like urine) cares what they look like to the world. She wears (just a trench coat) threadbare jeans and a (mice chewed) flannel shirt. The boy (trudges listlessly) walks by. He catches sight of (is enraptured by) the couple sitting on the bench. Immediately (or close to it) he grins and regains his faith in humanity.

The boy's mother (hag) grabs his arm and (yanks) leads him onto the bus. He smiles and waves (defies his mother by having his own thoughts and feelings) toward the two people holding hands on the bench.

The couple is still (waiting) there. What they're waiting for (Godot) isn't evident. But (it's a long wait for) the trains stopped coming years ago. So they (inspire) sit. Neither says a word (talking isn't necessary) but they know what the other means. They (found twu luv) serve as (a fashion icon) an example to the world.
