Since a friend of mine ours is a Nightwing fan, we created a pair of shoes for her for Christmas. ( My favorite part is the Robin... )

They're acrylics painted on by hand then sealed with a water-proof sealant. They seem pretty durable and like they won't peel, thankfully. We planned out the shoes before hand on post-its and index cards. :D
