Yesterday I day-tripped to ConText, solo, since the Spousal Unit wouldn't believe the part about the many booksellers in the huckster room besides Larry & Sally's table. (Next time you hear him complain about how "When I Was A Boy," there were book dealers in the huckster room, remind him that there still are, you just have to find them

If you get a chance, I would very much like a copy of the sheet music for the Brian Boru guitar piece. Perhaps at OVFF? Thank you for letting me borrow your iPod to hear the sound file played; it was beautiful, and I'd like to learn it for someone special.

Your purple guitar is so much fun. It makes me happy to see you play it.

(You missed Bill Roper, Ed, Trace and Seanan, going around the filk circle. To be fair, a couple of them were sitting behind you out of your sight. Tom Smith did the "I'll lay down for an hour after supper" and ended up actually sleeping through Saturday's filk.)

The nodding off on Saturday night is all-too-frequent for me, and without the nagging by the Spousal Unit (he's useful that way) some Saturday filks I'd sleep through, too.

Once you get to looking at it, let me know if would be any more do-able if it were re-arranged from the master-level classical guitar solo, into a medium-level duet of melody and accompaniment.
