New Year, New Stitching (and not so new)

Happy New Year!

Yesterday, January 1st, was the annual Stitch and Bitch day of eating and stitching. Smaller than usual turn out this year, but a good time was had by all. I actually got quite a bit of work done on a project that's been ongoing for far too long. I'm stitching a Tiny Nightwing, just for the fun of it, and he's been languishing,

I've never seen you wear anything like that, Robin. Was that what you wore to ring in the New Year or to the Bludhaven awards? You'll have to post pictures. ;)

There are the other versions of The Twelve Days of Christmas. Or you could go with the Scottish version but you'd have to make 13 ornaments (but on the plus side, you'd get to stitch both a peacock AND an Arabian baboon! What's not to love? Not just a baboon--an Arabian one! Which makes me wonder if it has a dish nose and wears tassels on its bridle and prances about...probably not. Never mind.)

Ah if only I looked that cute in spandex. lol Nope, I wore a frilly tea dress to the awards, and jeans and a leather jacket to the parties afterward. My date was the sort who often needs to make a quick getaway.

Thank you for the additional versions of the 12 days of Christmas. Now I MUST find an Arabian baboon to stitch! With tassels! I don't suppose you feel inspired to draw one?

I'm off to see what other wonders these new versions have to offer. This is going to be fun!
