Yesterday, January 1st, was the annual Stitch and Bitch day of eating and stitching. Smaller than usual turn out this year, but a good time was had by all. There are the other versions of The Twelve Days of Christmas. Or you could go with the Scottish version but you'd have to make 13 ornaments (but on the plus side, you'd get to stitch both a peacock AND an Arabian baboon! What's not to love? Not just a baboon--an Arabian one! Which makes me wonder if it has a dish nose and wears tassels on its bridle and prances about...probably not. Never mind.)

Thank you for the additional versions of the 12 days of Christmas. Now I MUST find an Arabian baboon to stitch! With tassels! I don't suppose you feel inspired to draw one?
I'm off to see what other wonders these new versions have to offer. This is going to be fun!
