This late afternoon, a friend came by and picked us up to drive up to String Creek for The McHone's Annual Family Reunion. There are usually 80 or so family members camping about the land. leaving String Creek the second time in february's snow, was one of the hardest things i have ever done. it was like admitting defeat, but my heart condition was getting worse and it was becoming dangerous to live so far from a hospital, so we accepted the inevitable and moved to town. i know it was right, but i yearn for my mountain and my wandering valley creek within.

dan and i did get a bad dose of food poisoning on the 16th of july and it has a 10% chance of bringing with it a case of guillian-barre syndrome which lasts a month according to the MDs. grin. which is a paralytic thing, ( i once knew someone who had it for almost 2 years 90 % of his body), but we think we've passed the danger part. gosh, ain't it just dramatic as all get out at our house all the effin' time?! grin. obly the upper skinof my thumb feels "odd". now othtehell does "odd" mean?
