Because of Alanis Morissette I have no idea what "irony" actually is. I agree. I don't think it's ironic. Feeling nervous about a change in medication when you have anxiety is pretty expected.

I guess maybe irony to most people is: given a very common situation with reasonable expectations, the outcome ends up becoming the opposite of what is expected.

So irony in your situation, would be: I'm changing my anxiety meds, and I've never felt more laid back in my life.

I only know what dramatic irony is, which I don't think is the same as other irony. I, too, blame Alanis.

Also, a death row pardon two minutes too late is an example of dramatic irony, right?
