I've been finding it quite difficult to write anything recently. Not that I've not been inspired. In fact, I find thoughts and feelings flooding through me at times, but they were impossible to pin down. So I am reduced to regurgitating what I read or hear. Thanks so much for this. It really opened my ears to Milstein's playing. Had me all over the internet looking for other Milstein performances. I have his Bach Cello Suites( I think) but I'll definitely be looking out for more!

Oops. I meant his solo partitas and chaconnes, not CELLO suites. *blush*

Haha it's okay, Robin. You were half awake at least, there is indeed a very famous chaconne in Bach's violin Partita no.2.
