I've been saying how Boon Lay has been overtaken by workers from China. But today I noticed that some of these China workers were cute! I spotted 5 just going down for groceries. Hmm... things are looking up. Maybe I won't sell so soon after all.

Today was all about catching up. I've seen Serene here, there and everywhere but we haven't sat down for a nice chat in a long, long time. So it was really nice to hear all about her last project and how she's doing and all that. Also nice to know that she hasn't changed all that much. I really, really want to be good and kind again. I want to haul myself from the edge of the cliff, 懸崖勒馬, and prevent myself from falling into the abyss of self. I want to look around me and recognise the people around me, to see beyond myself, my needs, my wants, my ego. Only then can I really be happy.

Gasp! They're tearing down my old primary school! That's my line from Asian Boys Vol. 3. Who'd have thought that it would come true so soon?
