Tim Burton's Sweeney Todd was a bloody disappointment. Call it Sweeney Lite. Much of the blame falls on the frail shoulders and vocals of the two leads. My iPod is dying. It got wet when I put my bag down in a public toilet while trying to put on some contact lenses so I can look good for an interview for a job that I don't think I'm going to get. Another good day. I could get used to this. Brunch at John and Derrick's was civilised but never boring. A wonderful day. Spent the afternoon by the pool at Nana's. Tried to intensify my tan but the sun was playing hide and seek until the clouds swallowed him up and thunder rolled like timpani in an orchestra. Then the rain fell.
