We went to the vet this morning-again.  Although this was the homeopathic vet*, and we haven’t been there since last autumn-although there have been a few emails between.**

(I stop here, as I find myself sounding more and more like my Mum)- please ignore that if it sounds like officious advice. It is just trying to be positive reinforcement and encouragement. You may be pleased, or at least interested, or something, to know that the last time I wanted a hot bath and a mystery (as opposed to a hot bath and some other sort of book), I grabbed King and Joker, and devoured it, anda was quite happy to find it had a sequel, which I ordered, and am saving for when I next want a mystery. And I would probably not have had the first on my shelf at all if you hadn't told people to buy his books. :)

I hope the diagnosis chooses to be responsive to your attentions.
Again, for what it's worth, keep in mind mentioning the kidneys, just in case.
Pleasant dreams and lots of sleep.

I am adding the hellhounds to the healing good vibes list immediately (you're already on it).

This Is Not Your Fault. You have done everything right, you and the hounds were just unlucky. *Sends many many hugs and hopes that now that the problem has been diagnosed, it can be effectively treated*

Get some rest if you can. Never mind if, just get some rest. I'm glad you got some gardening in; it does sound like it helped.
