I have my piano lesson in the afternoon and sacred* home tower bell practise in the evening. **

I'll probably be the tenth to tell you, but Mozart did an absolutely charming set of variations on "Ah, vous dirai-je, Maman", known to us as "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star".

‡‡‡ Did Mozart write/arrange any folk songs? Surely. He’s The Man: he did everything. Cherubino’s arias could pass as belonging on that continuum, say.

Yep, he wrote a piano arrangement of "Ah, vous dirai-je maman," otherwise known as "Twinkle twinkle little star." They're not easy, or at least not for me (although I am not really a Mozart fan, so maybe that's it?)
