I love fics that spring such a wonderful surprise on the angsting characters :D And the thought of Jim slowly wasting away over regretting his cowardice makes me just want to hug him and squeeze him! It's just not the same without Spock!

XD I couldn't end it sadly. I liked the idea of Kirk needing reassurance, it's usually spock because kirk's so damn cocky. *Loves*
