1950s pin up pics are so sexy. All organic women, no artificial ingredients... yeah. And The Giant Claw is kookily great. I have it in a boxed set with Creature with the Atom Brain, Zombies of Mora Tau and The Werewolf, all of which have the same cheesy, popcorn-munching wonderfulness.

I really like that though Mara came to fame as a very successful pin-up girl she consistantly played intelligent, independent women.

Very cute. When are you gonna talk about some others, like The M!!!!
Now, must get on with me zombie research, she says, feeling somewhat zombiesque due to the 'orrible 'otness. Or maybe it's merely a rerun of that film where they set the world on fire. Can't remember the title, but remember it wasn't a bad film at all.

"The Day the Earth Caught Fire" is one of my very favourite British SF films. Terribly under-ratted as is the lead Edward Judd.
