Except I'm really not on the sofa much, I'm puttering around. I spend 40 minutes scrubbing the shower. Sometimes it just feels good to scrub things. Also I love the way the cleaning stuff I get from Target smells. So clean, not perfumey, not harsh and chemically, just clean ( Read more... )

Please, do tell what cleaner you use!! I use soft scrub and I hate the way it smells and the way I smell when I'm done using it.

Once when I thought I had hives I found out I was allergic to the new laundry soap my mom bought, did you change laundry soap or the stuff with the bear on it? (I can't remember what it's called! The brands are Downy or um... bounce? I dunno, I just got some, it smells delicious! I totally sniff my sheets cause they're so great smelling. It's a purple bottle of downy simple pleasures. )

I use the "Method" brand. They don't have it at Walmart, only Target, except I notice that Lowe's is carrying it too.

I never go to Lowes to get cleaning supplies, but I guess someone does.

I especially like their bathroom tub and tile spray, it works really good and has a real mild eucaplytus scent - not overpowering, but pleasant, and easy on the lungs and nose.

I always see the Method stuff but was never sure how well it would work.

That's totally awesome cause I absolutely hate it when I'm cleaning out the tub and shower and suddenly realize that my lungs feel like they're on fire from the fumes.

I'm so going to Target like today!

I've tried most of the Method products: the two best, IMO, are that tub and tile spray, and the wood polish. It smells like almond and it completely non toxic. (and works real well.) Pledge, on the other hand, is a cocktail of the most toxic stuff you can imagine. And that stuff does get into the air of your home. Can't be good.
