I ended up with four loads of laundry to take care of today. One to dry and fold, one made up of kitten pee sheets, another was a kitten pee comforter, and the last was an extra load of miscellaneous clothing that somehow added up to an extra load

I agree with mollidog--even if he cries sadly, best place to put him is in a small bathroom at night.
cats don't think of their feces as a bad thing and he probably just likes the way the sheets and blankets feel better than his litterbox. You can also try trying to watch for him and startling him with something like a shaken jar of pennies--or you can put one of those big crackly blue tarps over the bed, they don't feel good to cats when they walk on them and you'll definitely hear him if that rustles when he walks on it. Also, he could have a problem physically so best to get him checked out. He may be really stressed by the other cats too. Make sure his box has very low sides--even if you have to cut down a regular cardboard box, it can be tough for kittnes to deal with full sized litter boxes. good luck!
